1. How do I choose the right restoration contractor?
A. Make sure your contractor is licensed and insured.
B. Make sure your contractor carries a certificate from the Institute of Cleaning and Restoration - IICRC
C. Look for a contractor that is a member of at least one of the following:
The Restoration Association - RIA
The Society of Cleaning and Restoration Technicians - SCRT
The Indoor Air Quality Association - IAQA
D. If this is not an emergency, compare 3 different estimates and look for the services offered and the rates.
